Is 6 weeks too early to announce?

I had my first ultrasound already 2 days ago and the dr said everything checks out great. I was wanting to surprise my mom. Is it too early and should I wait a few more weeks? It’s already been tough keeping it in since my positive hpt. Should I go for it or no?

You can announce it whenever you feel like it. They say to wait for your chances of miscarriage to be lower but plenty of women miscarry in the 2nd & 3rd trimester. I know of one who lost her baby 2 weeks before she was due. Unfortunately crap happens and it sucks. So I say if you want to announce it now, go right ahead. It’s an exciting thing and I pray for a healthy pregnancy for you! 💕

It’s up to you. I announced at 5 weeks, 4 weeks, 4 again & with this baby I was 3 weeks 4 day’s. And the 2 at 4 weeks were miscarriages. I still announced early 🤷🏻‍♀️

Honestly I think it’s best to wait til you’re out of your first trimester. BUT Tell your mom for sure! 💛💛💛

We told family first within being 7 weeks and then I had close friends who I told to keep quiet. We didn’t announce on social media until this past week (12 weeks) to have heard the baby and seen it a few times as we had a miscarriage in December. I think we chose an amazing time to come out! Totally your decision all though I do recommend keeping high miscarriage percentage in mind. Best of luck hun ✨

After two losses we decided to wait for the next one💞 but you can announce it to whoever you want whenever you want!☺️💞 I told my mom right away for both and probably the next pregnancy too☺️

Hard for me to answer I announced I was pregnant 4 days after I gave birth 😂 personally 6w would be way to early for me, if I ever have another baby I probably would announce around 20w but that’s just me lol
