Can you be in labor without dilating further? I am 1 cm dilated and not progressing. I'm 37 + 5 and having constant menstrual like cramps and hellacious back pain. 🤷‍♀️🤷‍♀️

My mother in law was at 3cm dilated for weeks, so you could be dilated 1cm and having Braxton hicks contractions. Or you could be in the very early stages of early labor.

You can be progressing but not know. You can be in labor and your baby hasn’t dropped enough to make you progress.
