How do you all deal?

I had a miscarriage at 11 weeks in February and had to have a D&C March 1st. Still trying to conceive again with no luck. My due date was supposed to be in September and since my loss i have had 8 people i know so far announce they are pregnant due in Sept/Oct. 4 of which are in my immediate family. I want to be okay with it, but each new one that announces hurts more than the last. How do you all cope with the loss and the struggle to conceive when it seems like everyone around you is announcing left and right?

It’s so difficult. I know exactly how you feel. ❤️ Sometimes I’m not bothered, sometimes I feel guilty for feeling that it isn’t fair. One thing I always try to tell myself is that I don’t know what lead them to get pregnant. I’ve struggled, and I know I’m not alone, so maybe one of them struggles too? It doesn’t always make me feel better. Most times I just look the other way, or unfollow them on social media.

Same! I get lost in work and try not to think about it but that’s impossible. It sucks. Thinking of you 🙏🏻🌈

I know how you feel. I miscarried in Feb (also due in Sept). My sister is due a week before I was suppose to. Now I'm trying to find a way to plan her baby shower....
My husband and I are thinking of TTC again next month but are terrified of going through this again.

I feel the same way, i miscarried the day after mothersday. Because i miscarried at 6,5 weeks i did not tell anyone about my pregnancy or my mc. During my miscarrriage i had a family event and i tried to avoid my pregnant sister because i couldn’t cope with it at that time. She came up to me at one point to show me some houses they were looking at and all of a sudden she took my hand and put it on her belly because the baby was kicking. It really broke me inside because i knew i would never feel my baby kick. I am really happy for her, but for me this confrontation was too early. So don’t feel weird about trying to avoid situations like that, it is best to face it when you are ready. Give yourself all the time you need to heal from this loss, your time will come.

Totally understand where you are coming from! I’ve had two losses (one ectopic, one mmc) and sitting around watching people announce when you would have been is heartbreaking. I’m trying to figure out a way to “announce” but do it in a respectful way... I know a lot of women have the “I had to watch other women announce, I’m doing it big!” mentality, but I just can’t get behind that... because I know how hard it is and how much pain it causes. Honestly, when my sisters were pregnant when I was going through losses, I didn’t cope. I stayed away from them & they understood. I also muted anyone that was pregnant so I wasn’t forced to look at baby bumps and nursery pics. Gotta do what you gotta do to get by. Baby dust to you!

So sorry for your loss. We are in the exact same boat! I miscarried in February and due the same as you! My sister in law got pregnant soon after me and everyone else around me seems to be getting pregnant and having their baby while I'm still trying and getting failed attempt after failed attempt! It's very hard on me as well and I wish you luck and baby dust!
