12 weeks. Would you say that bump is baby or fat/bloat?

I haven’t gotten much bloat at all so I didn’t know if it’s just kicking in late or if baby is finally showing.

I don’t know where the “frost time moms don’t show until 20 weeks” thing comes from but every woman is so different and also “showing” is so subjective anyway. The point where people who see you regularly can tell you’re pregnant is different than when you’re recognizably pregnant to strangers.

What you have is a baby bump. Strangers won’t be able to tell but people close to you will. 12 weeks is when the uterus stops being tucked down in the pelvic bone and it’s the point that many women start to see a bump.

Side note: I’m 14 weeks and about the same size as I was last pregnancy at 20 weeks, but I have friends who looked bigger than me at 12 weeks with their first! Every body is different. :)

@chikky my stomach has always been pretty flat and now it looks like I swallowed a softball. But I know with this being my first most say you won’t show till like 20ish weeks. But it’s feels solid. So I’m just unsure and kinda confused.
