When did you start buying stuff for your baby?

I’m currently 16 weeks and 3 days and I’ve only bought like two sets of baby clothes out of excitement. My husband and I can’t decide when to start actually shopping for baby lol

I’ve started buying clothes this last week when I hit 19 weeks... dang clearance racks get me every time and I’m having a boy after two girls so I’m itching to buy all the cute things! The self control is slowly crumbling lol

I started getting small stuff as soon as I found out basically 😂 like onesies, bottles, blankets, receiving blankets! I got gender neutral but just found out I’m having a girl so now I’ve got pink stuff. I’m done now until after my baby shower lol.
I bought a basinet and car seat/stroller at a garage sale to keep at my moms house so I don’t have to tote things from house to house too! But definitely wait til after the baby shower to go all out if you’re more comfortable that way.

We got the furniture sometimes after 28 or 30 weeks and a few outfits. And bought the rest after our shower. I figured we would get a lot of clothes at the shower. We were building onto our house so we waited a little later then I wanted.

Im 15 weeks and just ordered a glider. We are spreading out the larger items over time so its not an all at once thing we stress over. The bigger stuff and a few small items well do ahead of time, everything else after my shower. That way were not stressing when im as big as a house lol.
