Am I petty?

I used to post pictures of my daughter on my WhatsApp status every single day cuz I know my hubby looks at it and so does his mom and his mom lives in another country, so o thought It wa a good way for her to see my daughter at least in pics every day. Anyways one day I posted a quote and his mom sent me a message “you shouldn’t post your whole life on social media it’s not right”. The quote wasn’t bad or anything but since then she left a sour taste in my mouth and since then I’ve refrained from posting anything at all since they wanna be nosy and try and tell me what I should and shouldn’t post ...I went from posting multiple photos of our daughters day to posting ZERO, am I being petty? She did say after all to not post my whole life on social media 🤷🏻‍♀️
