Is my boyfriend hiding something !!

So me and my boyfriend been together for 8 months and I wanted to meet his parents when we’re together like going places he will say something different likes he’s not with me he’s doing something else he wants me to be silent while he’s on the phone with her!but he’s says they doesn’t have a good relationship .but for some reason he doesn’t want them to know about me what should I do ??i understand we’re two different religion he’s Muslim and I’m Christian !!i I really need advice of what y’all think I should do because I don’t want to throw away 8 months with him
