Okay so I’m trying to end this Facebook brawl this lady is trying to start with me when it’s not even that big of a deal 😂😂. Her 13 year old daughter hasn’t started her period yet and she is convinced this is because her sister in law has pcos and she thinks that her daughter inherited it from her dads side . Now when I was diagnosed one of the first things asked my obgyn is if it was hereditary . She told me pcos has never been proven hereditary but in some caused family members to do have it (in my case I’m the only one in my family ) she said what is hereditary is the symptoms/side effects of pcos insulin resistance, hormone balance etc so I told the lady this and she seriously started arguing with me saying I googled it it’s hereditary and showing me articles but all the articles clearly start it’s not proven or they constantly said perhaps. I really don’t think my obgyn would lie or be miseducated as she specializes in pcos but I wanna here y’all opinion
