How can I tell if water is leaking?

How can I tell if my water is leaking? I feel alot of wetness and my underwear have been damp a couple times today. I'm worried I have like a slow leak or something. I have a family history of placental abruption (my mom with me) so I'm anxious. How do I know if this is amniotic fluid?

You have to get it tested but it could just be cervical mucus!! Sometimes it get runnier in pregnancy . I have to wear panty liners because mine has a tendency to be watery or normal thickness!! If your worried call your doctor or go in!

Definitely go get checked. It could be a slow leak. I’ve known many who that has happened to. It’s a quick swab test!

In birthing class this week they said you MUST put a pad on and after it’s wet, take it into the hospital and they test it with a special strip. Sometimes its urine as the babies head pushes abit out and sometimes the sack has broken but it will save your babies life if you go to hospital and it’s a leak, good luck mumma! 💗

Most L&D’s will tell you if you leak through your underwear and pants or fill a pad in an hour to go in
