Planning a gender reveal party

So i just found out I'm pregnant but dunno how far along i am yet. But I'm so excited that i already bought a bunch of party supplies for a gender reveal party. I'm gon' go to an ultrasound place to find out the gender at 13 weeks. Can't wait! I've never bin to a gender reveal party nor hosted one before so i dunno if i need to receive gifts or not. Can someone help me please? I need ideas.
