When Will I Feel Baby Move...?

FTM here. 😌 I’m 18 weeks, 1 day. The baby moves around so much during ultrasounds. But I still can’t feel it. He/she likes to curl up in a ball on my right side. And even then, it just feels like pressure. I’ve felt little flutters here and there. But not any actual kicks or jabs or anything yet. And it worries me. Because I haven’t had an ultrasound in a few weeks. Don’t get another one for about 2 weeks. I’m just hoping I’ll be able to feel him/her move soon. ☹️ When did you momma’s start feeling your little ones move? Should I be worried that I can’t feel my little one move yet..? 😣

I started feeling little pokes and jabs at 17 weeks, which got stronger, hubby felt her for the first time at 19 weeks.

First of all, your picture is adorable! I am 17 weeks today. Within the last couple of weeks, I have felt my baby move about 4 times. It is always super quick, and I only feel it once and then it stops. I am pretty sure it is when he/she flips over, it doesn't feel like feet or hands or elbows yet. This is my 4th baby, so despite my Father-in-law's assertion, I know it is not just gas!

I felt my little girlie move consistently around 22 weeks. I had an anterior placenta. I did feel her at times when I would lay down on the bed and focus and feel my belly. It was the best.

If this is your first child, many times you won’t tell the difference between your baby or your gut lol. There are movements that you may think is something else. For example, I’m 19 weeks and baby not big enough to feel him kick but when he’s turning around, it feels like he’s having a party in my cervix or like my doctor will say “tap dancing” lol. You may also feel a pressure on a certain side depending on how you lay down as well. Good luck!

With my first pregnancy I felt my boy move at around 20 weeks. But not every day, I think it always depended on his position. I'd say after week 23 I could feel him daily. I understand that you're worried, but it's absolutely normal not to feel the baby yet at this point. You will soon though!

 You probably wont get real strong kicks and elbows for a few more weeks. With my son I didnt start getting strong kicks until almost 6 months
