IUI 24 hrs after trigger? Please share experiences

I had 
IUI
 almost exactly 24 hrs after my trigger shot but EVERYTHING I read says it should be 36 hrs after. I know sperm can live in there a few days (3 per my RE) but his his sperm are struggling. Idk if having them swim for longer while they wait is best.

My IUI was 24 hrs after trigger and it worked. I have PCOS and my husband has low morphology. 
We also had sex the evening of the IUI by direction of our RE. Also my RE wants the sperm waiting for the egg before it releases. Currently 6weeks 4days.

I had IUI 24 hrs after trigger shot & sex 2 days before IUI and 2 days after. Hubby’s sperm count doubled after him being on clomid, FertilAid, & Count Boost supplements. It all worked! After 2 yrs TTC I’m currently 6w5d at 39 yrs old. Baby dust to you!

They like you to do IUI after you have ovulated. That way the egg is there and waiting for the sperm and not the sperm waiting for the egg. 
Typically people who do IUI have a sperm issue so it’s better to gamble on the egg then the sperm.
