Ureaplasma infection

So I had a Ureaplasma infection back in February. I’m currently in Europe and had never even heard of this before. Doc told me it wasn’t a big deal and to take the antibiotics and go on my way.

I really didn’t think twice about it until now when I think it has come back and I started to read up on it and some doctors don’t even ‘believe’ in it in the US. Well I scheduled an appointment with a dr in the US for when I go back and it really worries me how doctors aren’t agreeing on what’s happening in my body and giving medications to treat things.

I just don’t know what to do. The only symptom I have is pain during sex. No itching, no weird discharge, no burning when peeing. But the pain during sex is what made me go to the doctor in the first place.

I’m telling you this has been ruining my sex life for MONTHS and I just don’t know what to do😭
