Pain relieving gels while pregnant safe?

I have had this sharp nerve aching feeling in my right upper butt cheek for over a week. I just applied a pain relieving gel and massaged it for a little. A couple minutes later it occurred to me if it’s safe to even use those while pregnant! I tried googling it but not really much luck. I’ve only used it once, and I am 12 weeks pregnant. What do you ladies think! Please help and calm my nerves! Thanks in advanced!! ❤️

I used Biofreeze during my pregnancy because my chiropractor recommended it

That's sciatic nerve pain.. i had it since week 15.. the uterus is puting pressure on  that nerve.. if it was safe or not there is nothing you can do now dear.. so don't worry too much.
But those types of gels are anti-inflammatory which are not good.. but next time it happens apply an ice pack and massage it for a bit. A nice massage with warm olive oil is great as well ❤❤
