Can contractions be only on ONE side of the stomach in the beginning?

Yes i had contractions only on left side at the beginning,.then they radiated across and to the back

I’ve personally never experienced that.. sounds like gas/trapped wind or you gotta poop lol but you never know! Every one is different

I asked my doctor if that can happen and she said no. I thought it had happened to me, but I think it was just the baby pushing really hard on that one side.

My BH were one sided but real contractions , no.
But that’s just my experience.
