Effective immediately?
Hey y’all! I was just wondering if getting the Skyla iud (or any hormonal iud) inserted on your period really makes it effective immediately? If that’s true then why? I’ve read many different things. Why would getting it on your period making it effective immediately but if not inserted on your period takes a week to be effective? Thank you!!
