So I’ve had my mirena IUD since December last year and I’ve tolerated it pretty well. I got it to stop my heavy menstrual bleeding and I pretty much don’t get periods any more but just frequent brown discharge. I don’t think it has a particularly bad odor but is it normal?? I also had what I think was a UTI a few months ago and now I think I have one again. Another thing is i get really bad episodes of cramping and bloating which is very uncomfortable. I’m sexually active and have only ever slept with one person who is clear of any STD’s, so we don’t use condoms. Is what I’m experiencing normal? How can I fix it? Please help!
