When will my strong sense of smell subside?

I am 8 weeks 4days today and my sense of smell is so heighten. I can’t open my fridge without gagging No one else can smell what I’m smelling it’s not even a bad smell I just can’t stand it. And we recently brought a caravan and I can’t stand the smell of that either can anyone help me ? Do you know when my nose will go back to normal or how I can get over the smells ???

My strong sense of smell didn’t go away for weeks after my mc at 13 weeks 😓 my poor hubby, even sex smells made me nauseous

You’ll likely get over the nausea before your good sniffer will stop working overtime lol
I’m 34 weeks and yesterday at my baby shower I was like “mm I smell fried chicken!” And someone like five minutes later commented they could just THEN smell it - that my nose was still on overdrive haha
Also prob helped that fried chicken smell has made my mouth water the whole pregnancy haha

Strong sense of smell doesnt stop it is something that carrys on through out the pregnancy

I’m sorry to say but it really is different with each person. I didn’t stop throwing up until I was 16 weeks. Some people stop getting sick sooner, some people later, and some people are like the their whole pregnancy. Hopefully yours goes away soon!
