Kitten play and bunny play

So i am realllly into kitten play and kind of bunny play and wolf play and i really want to get ears and a tail but im not so sure about how my bf feels about it bc he changes his mind all the time🤷🏼‍♀️ idk what to do. I cant get any of that stuff now bc we both live with our parents but I like when he calls me kitty or kitten or bunny and he used to but he stopped and he told me it made him uncomfortable and i get that like if it mskes him uncomfortable im not gonna force him to do it but sometimes he hints at it and im super confused. And i asked him about it and he said "I dont know" so idrk what to do lol
