I work at a salon and spa. Our salon will not let you get a massage till you are at LEAST 12 weeks. There are higher risks at that time and it's a liability on our part. So I'd say wait until you're past the 12 weeks.

Yes just make sure they know what they're doing and know you're pregnant. You have to be careful with it as pregnant women can have clots with all the extra blood flow and deeper massages can sometimes dislodge them. Even if you get a manicure or pedicure let them know your pregnant as we massage differently to avoid hitting certain pressure points.

It really just depends on what kind of back massage that do have pregnancy back massages but I would let them know you're pregnant there's certain essential oils they shouldn't use while you're pregnant
