UK mummy's?

Any UK mummy's out there?
I'm 7 weeks 4 days now and I still have another week to go before my first appointment. Its frustrating seeing everyone getting ultrasounds at 6weeks or less when I wont see my bean until possibly 12 weeks.
Just wondering if anyone else feels as impatient as me 😂 and a little jealous 😂

I am in Wales..  I couldn't wait for 12 week scan so booked a private one last week. Definitely put my mind at ease... I'm not impatient for my scan letter to come through now!! Arrgh! I hate waiting Haha x

Yep UK! Can’t believe we have to wait until 12wks. I had a MMC last time so off for a private scan on Friday

Im in the UK, in 8w4days. My first midwife appointment is tomorro morning. I feel like its neen ages. Im hoping my first ultrasound isnt going to be so far away.

I’m in the UK and 8 weeks today. I had quite a bit of blood on Thursday so I went to the hospital after calling my midwife. Thought it was all over but saw healthy heartbeat and measured perfectly! Honestly can’t believe we have to wait for 12 weeks to know if all is okay. Think it’s a bit cruel as the anxiety can be too much. I understand why everyone gets a private early scan. I would’ve too if my scare hadn’t happened

I think I’m going to book a private early scan for next Friday when I’ll be just over 7 weeks. Not a chance I can wait until 12 weeks!

I’m UK - I’ll be 7 weeks on Thursday. Have my first gp appointment tomorrow and then planning to book a private scan as I’m too impatient to wait 😂

I'm on baby #2. It's so hard waiting 12 weeks then having to go until 20 weeks.
I have an emergency scan tomorrow (I'm 9 weeks today) but I'm not excited for it due to the circumstances.

Same here! First midwife appointment is next week when I will be 8w2d. I self referred to a midwife and didn’t see a doctor which seems odd? Like what if I’m not even pregnant 😂 toying with the idea of a private scan just to calm nerves that all is ok as it’s my first
