Measuring over 2 weeks ahead??

I’ve consistently been measuring a week ahead since my first ultrasound. But today I went and though I’m 32 weeks and 4 days my belly is measuring at 35. What should I expect from that?? The doctor didn’t act like it was a big deal but damn! I don’t want to birth a 10 pound baby lol

I’m in the same boat! At 30 weeks 2 days I was measuring right on 30cm. At 32 weeks 2 days I was measuring 35 cm! Baby grew a lot in just 2 weeks. I was over 10lbs when I was born so I’m terrified my baby is gonna be huge! My OB didn’t seem concerned about me measuring ahead but has made a comment in past appts that if baby continuously measures big, she will induce me at 38 weeks! I’m currently 33 weeks 1 day.

They might do an ultrasound to asses how big baby is to discuss if induction or a c section is needed. I've been 3 weeks ahead since they started measuring fundal height and just had an ultrasound done. She is about a week ahead but her legs are 3 which is why my fundal height is so off. So I have normal weight baby just long.

My last measured a week ahead the whole time and ended up a week early. 😉

Nothing. You baby might be a little bigger but they won’t really do anything different. My baby is measuring 4 weeks ahead it my doctor said it doesn’t matter as long as he’s growing.

My son always measured 2 weeks ahead and then he can just a little early at 37w3days and weighted 7.9lbs.
