I have a 3 year old son who has been a brill sleeper but certainly had his moments. When he was 18 months we went through weeks of horrendous nights due to separation anxiety. But my MIL seems to think he is absolutely fantastic and she has never known a toddler who loves sleep as much as he does. And she is always making remarks that this one (in my tummy) will not sleep. She said to me tonight, “well this one isn’t going to sleep so best get as much rest now. He definitely won’t be like Oliver!” How does she know? Now I’m not stupid, I’m not expecting him to sleep from 1 week old but jeez woman where’s the support? Yes we are very lucky our 3 year old sleeps, and I’m kinda hoping this one will eventually sleep too, but making these comments (almost weekly) certainly doesn’t help!!
