My newborn has a defect :-(

My baby girl was born on Tues night 22nd. Everything was going swimmingly and I was happy the baby was healthy until the Peditrician came by and ran some tests. Found out my baby has Infant Hip Dysplasia. Go figure my baby is 1 or 2 in 1000 babies that gets this. I was in complete shock and felt like I was at fault. Apparently, it's due to either positioning in the womb or its heridatary. I am adopted so I have no idea my history and my husband's family doesn't have it. Thankfully they caught it early because had they not she would have issues walking and have a bad hip growing up. It's treatable but we'll have to make my baby wear a sling for many weeks or months to correct it. I know there are worse things but it still stinks. My fear was something like this would happen with her. Does anyone know anyone or has personally dealt with Infant Hip Dysplasia?
