Should I set up an Instagram for my baby?

I’ve been debating this for the longest. I think he’s the cutest thing but my profile is starting to become his. 
The only thing that’s holding me back is thinking about when he gets older...he may not want that type of attention or know everyone has access to his baby pictures whether he likes it or not. (Remember how embarrassed some of your friends would get ESPECIALLY men when you pulled out their childhood pictures?) 
...also pedophiles. I’d like to avoid them.

We don’t post pictures of our kids on social media. Everyone hates it but I ain’t having my kids pictures end up on some pedophile website. Hell no.

I made a google account for my son.  I upload his photos there so that he can have them someday and I have a good way to store digital photos/videos. 
I also use it to “email” him letters. I’ve given his email address to his closer relatives also, so he has emails/pictures from grandparents, great grandparents, etc.  
I will give him the account when he is an adult.  
I’m also going to make a book for his bday each year (like an online photo book service) using the pictures and including the letters people write to him.  
It’s more reliable than Instagram in the long term, and he and I will be the only ones with access.  
I’ll just continue filling my insta with his beautiful pics- if people don’t want to be a part of them... ✌🏼

My profile is all photoa of me,hubby, our kids and animals. I have it locked as private only for my followers who all have to be approved and I only allow close friends and family.

There’s no point since you post pictures of him in your account, kids don’t care for having their own profiles when they were babies and there’s his mat better ways to have a “cute” memory of his best moments,

You can create an email and share it with those close to you! This way, you can share it with your kiddo when they get older, and ALSO remember the previous moments (first steps and such) 💗

My daughter has an Instagram. She’s now 17 months. When she’s older she can delete it if she wants to. But for now it’s cute and she brand reps and has an agent and manager and all that so the Instagram is good to keep up with it all. 
Pedophiles are an actual concern though so I would recommend NEVER posting naked baby pics. Sad but true.
