Whole Milk ?

I tried transitioning to whole milk but my 12 month old is getting constipated. What do you mama's do when this happens,  with my first daughter when I started giving her whole milk she was constipated the whole time but I never Associated constipation with the whole milk until I took her off and the constipation stopped. I just don't want to go through this again with my second daughter because it was horrible.

Just went through this with my son! He was getting horribly constipated when we transitioned him. We have him drink a cup of apple-prune juice and tons of water too! We also have given a little bit of miralax as well. His tummy is used to it now thankfully!

My LO is on whole milk and iron, so she was super constipated. we added Miralax and increased water intake. Some days I add a splash of light lemonade to encourage her to drink more. It has really helped! I add it to her morning milk, since that’s the first thing she drinks when she wakes up, I do a 1/2 tsp and that has really helped smooth out her bms.

I haven’t experienced constipation.  It’s actually making my daughter go more frequently butttt you could always give her prune juice or just feed her prunes. Works for my daughter.
