I hate being in the middle of my parents

My mom and my dad don’t go through the court and he just gives her a child support check. My mom has to remind him to give it to her on time to pay some of the bills and she usually texts him.

He almost never answers her text so she calls him and then he doesn’t like to answer if my stepmom is there.

He also just gets me at random times, and my mom has told him to call her first and ask but he still calls me. She has told him this several times.

My mom gets mad at me because I don’t stand up to him and tell him to answer the phone for her. She basically says I’m a bad daughter.

I really don’t want to get into it with my dad, I just want to be like all my friends with divorced parents that get along with each other but I know I can’t be.

What should I do? Should I tell my dad that he needs to start doing these things? I already remind him that he has to ask my mom when he calls. I’m 16 so it would be a little late to go through the court
