Induction - Cervidil?

Question

Any momma's get induced & they inserted cervidil for the process? 
How is it done, and was it successful? 
Getting induced tomorrow & was told that's how they will be doing it. This is my first & I'm very nervous!

i did! and it was a breeze. 
i went in at 0 cm and not effaced. they inserted the Cervadil at 8 pm. it’s smaller than a tampon, like a piece of paper. at 3-4 am i woke up with contractions, and my water broke by itself. 
at 6 am the contractions were unbearable. i was at 2 cm and got the epidural at 6:30 am. didn’t feel the needle it at all. 
i fell asleep until 11 am. they checked my cervix at i was at 9 cm!!!! i got stuck there for awhile so they gave me pitocin around noon. 
at 1:50 pm they told me to push. baby was born at 2:23 pm 😊😊😊

I did. My water broke exactly 12 hours after it was inserted and contractions started immediately. It worked very well and did what it was supposed to do. I did end up with a c-section, only because my son was stuck due to being “sunny side up.”

I had cervidill and it didn’t work for me. But cytotec and the Foley balloon catheter worked. I also had pitocin with the balloon.

I did! They inserted it at 9 pm And by midnight I was having intense contractions. They took it out at 4 am and gave me my epidural and broke my water. I napped most of the day and pushed my baby out in less than 20 minutes! No pain once I got the epidural!!

I has cervadil inserted after my water broke. It was almost as painful as labor for me. I hated it because I was told I couldn’t move and had to lay in bed. It took a while for me to progress at first but then I went from a 4 to a 10 in an hour. I am due with my second in a few weeks and am hoping to avoid cervadil due to my experience

I had this due to having preeclampsia and needing to deliver early. I did nothing for me I ended up having to get a c section. It didn’t hurt going in, it’s just uncomfortable. Hope you have good luck with it!

I was 41+1 when they started my induction. I had it inserted at 1cm and 50% effaced. Got two full doses lasting 24hours ( first inserted at 9am checked at 9pm then back in again at 9am) and it did almost nothing. When I went back in the next morning I was 2cm and still 50%. I then had to get pitocin for 4 hours before anything happened. They broke my water then it really kicked up.

I had this! It started my labor. They gave it to be around 9am since I was ROCK SOLID at 40+5 weeks. They monitored the baby and I for about an hour and then let us go home. We were supposed to go back 6 hours later to see if it worked or if we needed to move to another method (IV meds). We left the hospital around 10:45. In the car on the way to the mall (10 mins away) to go walk around and half way there my water broke. FUN! Contractions started mild but were extremely painful by the time we reached the hospital. Again, this was only in a matter of 5 minutes. They monitored me for another 20 mins before they admitted me. The contractions were coming every 30 seconds. Being induced is no joke. Sorry to say but girl it hurts! There is no ramping up. 0-100 real fast
