Was I in the wrong ?

So tonight I’m having sex with my fiancé. We were on the couch. He had one leg on the couch and one leg off it. I said “babe why don’t you put your other leg up so it’s more comfortable” he got mad and snapped and said “it isn’t fucking comfortable and i don’t fit that way” I kept saying he does. I said that he does fit and that maybe it’ll be easier and feel better. He kept getting mad and said I need to stop talking and stop presuming it when he clearly don’t like it that way. I apologized and then he got mad and got dressed and we never continued. Now he’s on his phone with his mom telling her how I was wrong for suggesting something more comfortable. 🤷🏻‍♀️ I literally don’t see what I DID wrong?
