When Did You Announce Your Pregnancy?

Question

How many weeks along were you when you announced your pregnancy? If you haven’t yet, when are you planning to do it?
I see people announcing as early as 8 weeks. Wish I had that kind of confidence.
This is my 1st pregnancy (through 2 cycles of IVF) with a previous miscarriage. I’m not planning to announce until about 18-20 weeks. I work from home though so I can definitely hide it from my coworkers. 😆

Im waiting till after my next appt at 16w, im 13w now. We went thru an MC last yr & just want to make sure we r well out of first trimester before telling friends & family. I might wait till 20w to announce at work.

We have only told immediate family. I’m 12w currently and have an ultrasound Tuesday. We will probably tell a little more family and close friends then. Haven’t decided when to tell work... my last job didn’t take it well and while this company is a million times better I’m still super nervous. We won’t post anything on social media and unless you see us you prob won’t know.

I’m not sure tbh. Pretty much my family and close friends know. As far as extended family and everyone else like social media, probably not until later. I did at 13 weeks with baby #1 & 2 but baby #2 end up not having kidneys which we found out at 17 weeks so I’m a little scared.

I think around 13 wks we will - only because we haven’t told hubbys parents yet and want to tell them before everyone else. We haven’t told them yet because I don’t think his mom could keep it a secret lol.

We waited till after our 12 week appointment to tell close family and friends/coworkers. Our parents and siblings knew around 10 weeks. Waiting a few more weeks ( 14-15 weeks)till we make it officially public.

I’m 14 weeks and want to announce so bad but I am just waiting for my blood test to come back to know the gender. I have an announcement ready just want to announce the baby’s gender at the same time. My family knows already.

I told my immediate family immediately and then we announced to everyone at 12 weeks. At that point, it was my third ultrasound and everything was healthy/on track so I felt confident by then to announce. I was initially planning on waiting until 13 weeks, but my fears of another miscarriage are pretty much gone. Of course I know anything can happen, but I personally just feel at ease now so it felt right. :)
