When is too soon to celebrate?

I just found out I'm 4 weeks pregnant, I know my husband is very happy and  is still in shock. But it's stressing me out cause it seems like he doesn't want to really be happy yet or celebrate until after 12 weeks. How am I supposed to feel? When is too soon to be excited?

My husband was more scared than excited for the first few months. It's totally normal for new dads to be adjusting. I don't think my husband hit excited until after the gender ultrasound. There is something about seeing your baby that is just crazy. Now I'm scheduled to be induced in 9 days and he is in daddy over drive and giddy like a little kid at Christmas 😊

25 weeks hubs still isn't on the same page as me.  He's excited but it's just different.  I spend every second of the day with our growing baby. He doesn't. I joke all the time that he acts like the baby is coming in the mail and isn't technically already here.

Its risky the whole pregnancy but i personally when I conceive will be ecstatic. Though i wont celebrate or tell anyone until 3 months.

We found out on my SO'S birthday that I was pregnant so he wrote about it on Facebook and he told his family, friends...
We didn't even think to keep it a secret. When I was 7w5d my body rejected the baby so I lost my sweet angel. Telling people about it was one of the hardest thing ever. Some were nice but some were really mean and hurtful. Like for example one told me that she doesn't get it why I'm getting upset about it when I lost just a few cells nothing more! 
   Six months after that I lost another pregnancy but this time we didn't tell anybody so our suffering was private and without having to deal with insensitive people.

My SO was the exact same way until we heard the heartbeat and saw the baby. Give him time and he will come around! Best wishes!

I've always been excited (as well as nervous) right away. Sure it's still risky but it's really risky for 9 months

It's never too soon! If something were to happen, it won't hurt any more/less if you hadn't celebrated. Congrats!!

We told immediate family pretty much immediately. I told my best friends at 7 weeks after having the first ultrasound. We have told friends as it comes up but haven't announced it officially. Next Friday we get the anatomy scan and will probably announce then.

It's so sad that some of the ladies on here have gotten such meanness from their losses. My best friend announced it immediately and she was only a few weeks, because she knew see had a good support system if she lost it and they wouldn't be alone. She also felt like it helped her to be excited about the baby instead of fearful of loss. She has had a number of extremely early miscarriages. Probably about 4.

I was very excited when I found out about my first baby. My husband was not very excited for that baby because at the 5week ultrasound doc didn't see anything. So he was not keeping high hopes and then we lost it at 6 weeks. But he was very supportive and caring at that time. My MIL said very harsh words anyways this time I wasn't excited till we passed 12 weeks mark. But my husband was super excited after 9  week ultrasound when we got to see him. I think everybody process it differently
