I am a first time mom and my son was born just a few days ago and I don’t know what I’m doing wrong. The doctor told me to feed him every 1 to 2.5 hours. He seems hungry about every hour or so but recently he’s been spitting up so much. I go to feed him (he won’t feed very long either. Maybe 10 to 20 mins, which they said as long as he’s eating 20 mins he’s fine but sometimes he will only eat about 10 and be done completely and I can’t get him to eat more)

I am breastfeeding. I seem to only leak when I’m feeding though but it’s a significant amount from both nipples. So I feel like I have enough milk?

I’m just confused and worried. He has plenty of pee and poopy diapers so that’s what makes me think he’s eating enough. I don’t know, I’m so new to all this. Is it normal for them to spit up so much?

Also, he has a bit of jaundice.
