Being induced

So I’m going to be induced on the 13 and this is my first. I know obviously it’s going to be hard and hurt like nothing I’ve ever felt before especially since I want to do this without any drugs. Now I just want to know if you guys have any tips on what can help or what I can do the few days before to prepare myself. At the moment I’m only 1.5 cm dilated but my midwife says my cervix is soft so I’m hoping that it’s a good thing.
