Induction?!

Ok so I’m freaking out right now because I’m getting induced tomorrow & I’ve never gone through that before so anybody have any tips on what I can do to get my mind right for this induction???

So many ppl told me that it was terrible and took forever. They stuck that cervadil up against my cervix at 11 pm..... I started with contractions around 3am...my water broke at 6am..... Contractions got serious around 10am.....they gave me pitocin at 11am...... By 1 pm I was fully dilated and my son was born by 3pm. So overall it wasn't a bad experience for me. Hopefully it goes well for you. Don't freak out. The baby is coming out either way just roll with it.

For my induction they place a tiny pill on my cervix to start my contractions it wasn’t nothing bad or scary just slight pain when placing it .

Regardless of what medication they’ll use to induce you I’ll tell you this. Go in relaxed and with an open mind, listen to your body. If you’re tense and stressed you can cause things to progress more slowly. It’s just going to jump start labor. But your body knows what to do.
