My S/O occasionally asks (honestly, in 6 years he’s asked well less than 10 times) for an intimate photo of me and I don’t oblige. My ex-husband took photos and video of me without my permission in ways that made me feel demeaned so I’ve had a solid stance against any pictures for years. I eventually at least came around to sending selfies to my S/O and he’s extremely patient.

I love how sexy and classy pin-up photo shoots appear to be and wondered if anyone has given it a try? I also think it’s a great opportunity for me to continue reaffirming the control I have of my body after leaving an abusive relationship all those years before.
