I'm just wondering if I'm the only one.

Up until I got married in may of this year I was a single mom. My daughter turned 4 in june. For most of those (almost) 4 years up until the wedding me and my daughter shared a room. She always had her own bed but usually slept in mine. After the wedding when we moved in with my husband she has her own room and never had an issue sleeping alone. She adjusted better than I did. I still get up a lot during the night to check on her. I worry something is going to happen and I can't get to her. I still use a baby monitor to listen to her at night. Am I the only mom who does this? Maybe it's because it was just me and her for so long?
