Nipple shield

Hi Mommas! So, My daughter is 7 weeks. She is exclusively breastfed. But the only way she eats is with a nipple shield. She won’t take my nipple without gagging nor a bottle. The only she way she take a bottle is with the nipple shield on it. ( I don’t even know if that’s safe! )

I’m afraid she might have a tongue/lip tie & it’s the reason she won’t latch on my breast alone. Or is it something she will eventually grow out of.

I would really appreciate comment, experience, & suggestions.
