Getting pregnant right after miscarrying

My baby's due date was November 8th, I miscarried April 27th...it ended up being an incomplete miscarriage so this past Thursday I went to the hospital due to hemorrhaging and the rest of the tissues ending up coming out. Anyways the doctor said I'm pregnant again with hcg levels of 287 and he was worried about an ectopic pregnancy for some reason? I get bloodwork done tomorrow to see how much the hcg levels raised. Has anyone else been through this and had a successful pregnancy or didnt have a successful one? What happened? I'm so nervous.
