Feeling disheartened and annoyed

I had a miscarriage in February, it took 7 weeks to have a period after. I am due my period in two days after using Clear Blue ovulation tests. I’ve been having cramps on and off since 6dpo and spotting. I took a test at 10dpo where I think I had line eyes and could see a vfl. Waiting to test again. I’m already setting myself up for disappointment. My Dad asked me today ‘pregnant yet?’. Are people that stupid to ask? Is it because he’s a man and doesn’t see that a question like that just sends me into panic. Anyone else?
