Check to see if i’m dilated

i went to the hospital today for cramps & back pains im 38 weeks pregnant & only was 1 cm dilated so they sent me home a few hours after... is it normal to just feel blah? i’m guessing i don’t feel good because they checked to see if i’m dilated?? idk i just don’t feel good i don’t feel nauseous or anything just like sore ? idk how to explain it! i just feel super exhausted even though i took 2 2-3 hour naps today & laid around. or is this just what it feels like to be pregnant 😩 this is my first time being pregnant so i’m not sure what to expect!
