Tea for colic baby?
Hey all! I have a 2 mo (9wks) who was VERY colicky for the first month. Since she’s gained healthy weight (she was under weight) and eats about 4oz of Similac Alimentum every 3-4 hours, she’s been “ok”. However, the other day was another colic day of NONSTOP crying for seemingly no reason. I read on multiple forums of mothers mixing special non-caffeine tea with their baby’s formula or bm. There’s this brand on Amazon called Baby’s Sleep Tea that has high reviews and mothers swear by it.
I heard it’s not safe to give a baby anything other formula or bm for at least 4 mo when they start with introducing purée foods. Has anyone heard about this tea or had experience one way or another with it? They claim it helps baby sleep through the night which for me is enticing since I go back to work on a few weeks and can’t keep waking up at midnight and 3am for feeds.
Advise? (Ps: Gripe water does NOT help us at all and she’s been on gas drops for every feeding and still has gas problems and throwing up/spitting up a lot).
Thanks!
