What to do after finding out I’m pregnant?

I recently found out I’m pregnant but I don’t know where to go from here. I have a regular doctor but I don’t usually see him anymore because I live away and it’s difficult to go see him. With that, I don’t know where to go from here. I don’t know if I should go to the hospital and get testing done or will they even do that? I live in Canada.

I made an apt with ny reg. Dr to confurm my first pregnancy and found an ob after that. That pregnancy didnt stick. But a few months later i just went to my ob. Take prenatal vitamins if you haven't started those, and be sure your staying well hydrated. Most obs wont see you until closer to 9 to 12 weeks depending on the office. I was seen at 7 due to re ently miscarrying. At that apt we had a vaginal ultrasound and heard her heartbeat so you may or may not get an ultrasound your first visit too.

Look up some reviews, pick an OBGYN and call to schedule an appointment! They’ll confirm the pregnancy and take it from there pretty much.

What I did was make an appointment with my regular doctor who confirmed my pregnancy with a blood and urine test, and then she made my first appointment with an OB, but every state and doctor is different!
