From the time you’re testing positive until your water breaks, your uterus is closed. Even if you lose bits of your mucus plug, it will regenerate and your uterus is still closed until your waters rupture.
That being said, I don’t swim in lakes anyway because they’re generally full of disgusting things - and water moccasins where I’m from. But, I’d be more worried about getting a cut infected at the lake than something happening to baby because you’re at the lake. If you swim in lakes most summers, you can swim in the lake this summer.

Our bodies provide safety for pregnancies but personally I wouldn’t. Mainly lakes bc we as a species have become disgusting to our natural water sources and who knows if our bodies have adapted the protections. River are constantly moving so I feel safer there. But you know the lake and how clean it typically is.
