home sweet home

after an incredibly euphoric couple of days at the hospital we are now home in our little nest. Today was an overwhelming day what with reality setting in after being in such a dreamlike state. My doctors and nurses spent the last two days telling me how impressed and happy they were by Naomi and I, and my family telling me i was doing amazing, I’ll admit it was flattering but also just felt very nice being acknowledged and respected by professionals and the people i love. getting home was very emotional for my husband and I for various reasons, it’s just crazy how suddenly real the situation became, we’re whole ass parents now!! despite our anxieties however we managed to make today special for ourselves and our little one and we’re looking forward to the rest of our lives!
