Finally!
After watching people come and go with their precious babies, I finally got to have mine!💙
On June 11th, 39w & 5d, we went in for my regular OB appt. After and hour of waiting in the waiting room, we go back and am checked out. My OB tells me that my BP has been elevated for the last three visits and I should go back to L&D for monitoring.
Now our L&D has been swamped so they wanted to call to make sure we could get in. After 10 minutes of waiting, the nurses rush in to tell us that we have two hours before we will be admitted to the hospital for my induction the next day.
At the hospital, we got the absolute best nurses! I started my labor with the balloon for dilation and got to 5cm! The next day I had miserable, natural contractions for 9 hours. No meds or anything. At 8cm, nausea/vomiting, and crying; I got the epidural which I didn’t want.
But after......I was talking and happy! Until my sons heart rate began to drop with each contraction which scared everyone. I got to 9cm before my OB decided a c section would be the best for all of us. But she was amazing!! At 4:14p my son was born with a full head of hair and 7lbs & 9oz! 💘 no complications after and my after care nurses said I did and am doing great with recovery!! 💙💙💙
