I have been on bc for about 20 years. In the last year, my periods for really wacky and started coming prior to me starting on my placebo pills. So wacky that one month it came two weeks early and I had bleeding for 21 days. My Obgyn switched me to a higher hormone pill and that was a nightmare. Some months my period would come a couple days early and other it was normal. I had horrific cramps tho, and horrible clotting the first day. Last period I had, started two days early. I had horrific cramps for three days and clotting for three days I went to my dr and he suggested putting me back on a low dose. I opted to just go off the pill altogether. So, I started my period on the 13th (2 days early) and it lasted until the 20th, which is when I should have started a new pack of pills. I didn't. I thought I was seeing a very faint pink in my discharge but thought nothing of it. On the 26th, I woke up to bleeding and I'm still bleeding. Did anyone else experience this problem when going off bc? If so, how long did it last? Ugh! I'm so tired of bleeding and period issues!!!!
