Hpv but we’ve only been with each other?

I’ve only been with him and he’s only been with me been together for about 8 years and got together in high school... how else could I have gotten hpv?... I asked him and he said he hasn’t slept with anyone or anything and I know I sure haven’t slept with anyone else but him.

Currently in a similar situation, I tested positive for high risk HPV during my last pap at 8 weeks pregnant. I have been with my now husband for 7 years. We had a daughter 3.5 years ago and I was tested at my 6 week postpartum visit and was clear. We’ve only been with each other so, somehow in the past 3.5 years I got it?? It makes no sense to me.
