High FSH low AMH

Anyone have successful IVF with high FSH and low AMH? My FSH is 17 and AMH .076 and basically was told by the fertility doctor that I have a very low chance of a successful IVF cycle. We have tried clomid, iui and I did conceive natural 4 years ago but no heartbeat at first ultrasound. I have started acupuncture hoping to lower my fsh. The acupuncturist said to try ivf because the numbers could be wrong and you never know how many eggs they may retrieve until they do it! Did I mention I will be 42?
