What were your first signs of labor?

I’m just taking a poll because I know it’s different for everyone. I’m 37 weeks with my first.

Felt totally fine and on my due date starting having painless contractions in the afternoon about 2pm, felt like my body tightening and then relaxing again, this continued and eventually got stronger, painful and closer together until they were 3 minutes apart and time to go to the hospital at 3am

With my first it felt as if someone was lightly poking me in the back sporadically. With my second it came on fast and strong tightening and cramping in stomach and boom she was here within 3 hours! With my son though I was induced and it was just slow and steady contractions with the pitocin.

Bloody show for me. Two days later I went into labor.

My first felt like a light tummy ache as if I had to poop😂 my mom insisted I go to L&D and I was dialed at a 8😖 I had no pain until I actually found out I was in active labor. Second pregnancy my water dripped for about an hour then gushed and instantly as I gushed I had full blown contractions 😤. Everyone is different or shall I say every pregnancy is different 😂

Water broke at midnight at 39&6 and ended up needing to be induced due to not progressing on my own and they like baby out within 24 hrs of water breaking to reduce risk of infection. She came the day after in her due date.
Waiting to find out how #2 comes 😄...39 weeks today.

I had only had Braxton Hicks contractions sometimes during my pregnancy. The day I went into labor, and didn't realize it was labor at the time, I woke up sometime during the 3 a.m. hour and had some cramping that was a bit uncomfortable but not unbearable. I thought it was prodromal labor. Throughout the day the intensity increased until it became much more difficult to deal with, and I had my baby during the 3 p.m. hour. It progressed on its own really and pretty quickly I would say, though it didn't feel like it at the time!
