Bottles?

Hey mamas! So I’m expecting my first and trying to sort through all of the products available these days. I was wondering what you all recommend for bottles? I plan to breast feed but if for whatever reason I am away from baby and the husband or another family member needs to feed they would need a bottle. I saw the nanobee bottles and am curious if anyone has used them before? Any suggestions will be helpful! Thank you!

I used Lifefactory glass bottles with all three of my babies and all were breast fed. They’re just like a standard bottle. I like that they grow with your child, are easier to clean, have no plastic chemicals and don’t absorb odor or bacteria like plastics do. They’re a bit pricey but so worth it. Had mine for 7 years and not one of them have broken yet. My 7 and 3 year olds still use them and my breast fed 7 month old also uses them from time to time. I even use the bigger ones for myself.

My favorite are the Dr browns. We use wide neck when breast feeding, but once we stopped we switched to the standards and he loves them both.

Unpopular opinion here, but I loathe Dr. Brown bottles. They are expensive, have a lot of pieces to them, and I have never seen an actual benefit to them. My mom has been babysitting for 16 years so Ive seen my fair share lol. I really like tommy tippy, and I honestly really liked just the plain gerber bottles. The tommy tippy is easier with the wider neck though. My kids were never picky about their bottles though so brand wasn't ever an issue for me.

The best way to go is to get a few different bottles to try. Every baby likes a different type. We have mostly Dr Brown’s options glass bottles but we also have a tommy tippy, nuk, avent, and one other brand I can’t remember. Try a few and see which you little one will take the easiest.

Every kid is different so what we used may not work for you. My best suggestion is either borrow different kinds from friends/family or get a bottle variety pack off Amazon so you can try different bottles before getting a whole set.

I use Nuk Simply Natural. I breastfed for 2 months and he had no problem switching between the two... we had to switch to formula after that but I still really like those bottles.
